How to read our prices

The figures shown are indicative and reflect a median level observed for standard export quality (e.g., maize moisture ≤ 13.5%, aflatoxin thresholds, grading/broken rate as per technical specs). Final prices may vary depending on:

  • Exact quality (moisture, impurities, grading, optical sorting)
  • Logistics window (seasonality, trucks/silos availability, port cut-off)
  • Incoterm and destination port
  • Volumes and payment terms (LC, down payment, etc.)

Key price drivers

  • Harvest seasonality & regional availability
  • Freight costs (road/port), fuel, fumigation
  • Exchange rate XOF ↔ USD
  • International demand (EU, MENA, Asia) & import/export policies
  • Current product condition (after sorting, cleaning, lab tests)

Update frequency

Trends and indices are updated weekly.
Firm quotations are issued upon request and are generally valid for 48–72 hours due to logistics fluctuations.
